Nové přírůstky. Srdce mi připomnělo obraz Dvě Fridy od Fridy Kahlo. Pak les - Pálava a holub, kterého jsem tam loni potkali.

stolečky ročních období

Mám novou posedlost, stolečky ročních období, které vycházejí z waldorfské pedagogiky. Děti si s rodiči doma připraví takové místo, kde si v průběhu roku mění panáčky a další věci podle konkrétního ročního období. S trochu fantazie si s tím jde krásně pohrát. Mohou se donést přírodniny z venku, nebo vyrobit něco doma. Moc se mi tenhle nápad líbí, už jsem ho viděla doma u přátel, ale nikdy jsem to nezkusila sama.

látkoví moli

Objevila jsem, že někdo vyrábí tyhle krásné látkové plastiky. Moli a další hmyzí havěť. Nevím, co se s tím dělá, ale evidentně to jde na dračku a vůbec se nedivím. Neuvěřitelné...

Sandra Juto: wall art

I´m totally in awe at this project Sandra Juto made. She decorated a wall in a preschool with these painted wooden (I guess) decorations/pictures. I love it! Would love to have room decorated like this at home. Think of all the possibilities! Certainly I love the lamp, house... throw in some deers, mushrooms, foxes, dolls...! Pretty much anything you like :).

the straw object

 These are the photos I promised to take from the magazine (Marianne bydlení). I love this!!! I can´t stop looking at the photos, I love what they did with the balcony. Most of all I love the straw "chandelier", the flowers and the colourful mosaic on the wall. I wish it was my idea, I´m sorry to say it wasn´t :). The designer is genius. I kind of wish she came to our house and made something similar with the whole place.

straw ornaments

How awesome are these straw "himmeli" ornaments? I found these above via Hydrangea girl, but at first I saw a great picture in a magazine showing a huge object made from colourful straws. I´ll show that one later, I can´t make myself take a photo of the magazine page. Inspired by that, I made my own version - I´m sorry to say mine didn´t turn out as splendid as I imagined :). Anyway, it´s a start! I´ll try again for sure...

Next time I´ll definitely use bigger straws without the bending part, and I´ll try out a different joining method. I used thin wire with the first one, but it didn´t really work out. I want to hang it somewhere near the ceiling in the kids room, and I´m inspired to make or hang some more "flying" objects in there.

the risk of buying presents

I bought these two handmade brooches - they were delivered today. I thought I´ll give them to somebody for christmas, but now when I see them in real life I love them so much I decided to keep them. So much for giving presents :). From this awesome seller.

building a house

I had this idea in my head for a longer time: to make a doll house from a cardboard box. We have plenty of these at home, so the only problem would be the construction. Making the base was simple, it´s just a box. I had more throuble with the roof, it takes a bit more thought to make it firm (in the end I couldn´t make it as firm as I wanted...). The house is probably not finished yet, but I´m so pleased with it that I decided to post some photos anyway. I love making the interior - much more fun than the outer construction! I would like to add something yellow... kitchen cabinets or something. Of course, all of this is very simply and quickly made - I didn´t want it to be perfect. Also, it would help to have thicker wrapping paper, which I didn´t. I will probably work on it some more, but if I don´t... I like it anyway the way it is now :).
