I´ve already posted a part of these, but now they are complete! I wanted to make a set of five outfits and finally they are finished: four dresses and a coat.

blue foxes everywhere

So, as you may know, I´ve been a bit obsessed by the vision of blue fox since summer last year. It´s because I had a dream then: in that dream I saw two blue foxes looking at me... outside, in a white landscape. (A bit later I found out I became pregnant some day around that time..) It was such a strong experience, I couldn´t stop thinking about that dream. I promised to paint it and I did. But that was not enough, blue foxes stayed in my brain and I was thinking about other ways to bring them to life. So I made small fox ornaments on Christmas, and for a long time planned to make a bigger, toy fox. It took a lot of planning, drawing and one unsuccesful pattern test fox. But now it´s finished. This is the first one, I´m certainly making more and I´m so proud :). This one is made from dark blue corduroy I found in my stash and the removable skirt is from organza.

I made my second brooch, this time from fabric, a girly one. Another one is sewn up already, just needs to be embroidered. I enjoy making these small ornaments lately, handsewing a lot. More to come soon... I also made simple knit sweatpants for Marie, and I love them. It´s pretty satisfying to make something so practical. I just need to take a photo some time...

pants

I finished making my summer pants. They still need hemming, but I can´t do that unless I put them on... I´m not going to post them on Burda style yet, because I can´t try them on. I have to wait until my huge belly is gone and my hips hopefully shring back to normal. I love turquoise! We all are more or less ill, getting better and then worse again, and that will probably last till the spring. It´s freezing cold here. Luckily it´s february already!
